Focus On The Masters (FOTM) is an ongoing, nonprofit photographic and biographical resource project documenting Ventura County’s contemporary artists. The goal of Focus On The Masters is to demonstrate the full significance of the arts to society by bringing highly accomplished artists to the forefront of the community.
FOTM also offers educational outreach programs to adults and children through ongoing Creative Workshops and Classes at its Creative Center. Its outreach continues with Learning to See, an 8-week residency program for schools.
Focus On The Masters also conducts a Tuesday Talk Series. This monthly educational outreach provides the public with an opportunity to meet the artists and experience their work first hand. The artists exhibit their original work, share their personal experiences in interviews and give advice to the gathered audience.
